The group's first search product: a programmable search engine built on Google Programmable Search. Six engines ship by default — Web, Images, Videos, News, Torrents, and Subtitles — while Based lets users search any chosen portion of the web.
Uperox proved that a focused search surface could sit on Google's index and still feel like a product of its own. Pre-built engines covered everyday use; Based opened the rest of the web. We backed it as the first search platform in the group, then exited once that chapter was complete.
